In your personal opinion, did you think it was worth moving out for college? I'm considering doing it, but I want some feedback.

For my personal opinion if you get on well with your parents - STAY at home!!

It's a big wide EXPENSIVE world out there.

If you can 'bludge' (and I mean that in a nice way) off your parents and have cheaper living costs then stay. You will have a much better studying environment at home.

- - - I have just re-read your question. If you mean you have to move out of home to go to college and should you do it?, that's a whole different story. Is the college or uni in your town, or do you have to move cities to attend? If the college is out of town from where you live, then YES, take the education for sure ..... You are only young once.

Yes, move out.You meet, make, and keep friends for life. College students are all learning life lessons together. You find people you depend on, love, help, help you and have loads of fun with.

It may be a good idea to move out, but not too far from home. I suggest about 100 miles, or a two hour ride. That distance makes going possible but just enough of an inconvenience to have you solve any problems yourself.

Not worth it if you can stay at home. At least at home you get meals and home comforts provided, by the time I get all my work done there would be no time to cook wash cleanand all.
