Jesus laid out some guidelines for praying correctly, and incorrectly. First, are we praying to our Father, or to be seen by men. If we're using big words and flashy movements to be seen by men, then we have our reward, God's not interested. But, if we go into our closet, then our Father who sees in secret will hear our prayer and listen to us.
Second, are we humble? God resists the proud, but lifts up the humble.
Third, am I thrying to get God to be my puppet, or am I trying to line myself up with His will.
These are three indicators of whether or not we are praying correctly. Feeling doesn't come into the picture. We have a promise that He hears us if we pray.

God's presence is around all you see from nature, if you have feel bless by another day of life, a happy moment, the trees, the birds, everything is a blessing. There is not such thing as praying incorrectly, unless is done without faith.

To feel God's presence you have to have an open heart, a clean conscience or at least a truthful regret to be able to feel consolation from him.

Try if this is hard to reach, first to communicate with angels, they will send the message to Him. Through them you will find easier to find the way to feel his presence.

I can't speak for every body, only my self. I find that if I pray and don't feel Gods presence, it is because I was usually thinking of something else that I had to do. And i didn't have my mind or heart in the prayer. But when I realize it, and put everything else aside, and give God my full attention, then I feel His presence. God hears hasty prayers to, if your heart and faith is in it. But that is the way it works for me. Sometimes you may not feel Gods response to a question right when you are praying, but be patient, He will answer.

I dont really believe there is a way to pray "incorrectly". Just close your mind to everything but you and the Lord. God doesn't always answer prayers the way you like them, but does things in His will. Keep the faith and keep praying!

Feeling Gods presence is not a prerequisite to answers to prayer. What is critical is you pray "in His will", according to "the word of God" and just be sincere from your heart.

I don't think you can pray incorrectly. By praying you are talking to God. You could have a one sided converstaion with Him. Now if you ask Him for something and nothing happens, don't get discourage. Nothing ever comes free. You may need to work in a certain direction. God is omnipresent. He's always around. You may not feel like it but He's there.

No, because the mere act of praying means you trust in God and know he'll be there to guide you through every obstacle you face in life. You may not feel his presence right then (depression and anger might be some common hindrances) but you will when you see the wonders he has in store for you- and millions of others, all over the world.

Nope because the "Just shall like by faith" not by sight or flesh or feelings. We must learn to come under the authority and control of the Holy Spirit and not the flesh otherwise we start thinking in the flesh and not living in the righteousness, peace and joy of the Holy Ghost which according to Jesus is true kingdom living.

The "Our Father" prayer was a sample prayer to cover all the needs of our walk with the Father and basic needs of the body.

Praying correctly or incorrectly does not differ god's presence at all. Most likely, nothing will happen.

Let me tell you something bro, god don't want you to pray to him. What kind of personality do you think he has. Only a selfish tyrant would want you to pray to him. If you stay with the commandments and don't worry about anything else, you will be cool.

I know a lot of people that prayed for something and they never got it granted. Thats because god really don't like it. He don't like animal sacrifices either - thats why the Jews stopped doing it.

I think most religious people are confused about these things.Think about it, if you were god, would you want people to "pray" to you?
