i've seen on tv people taking shots that have been lit on fire. what are they drinking?

strong, normally dark spirits, like rum or brandy, but often in a shot it contains black sambucca - galliano. just make sure the glass is made of glass, and doesn't make contact with your skin

Flaming Dr.Pepper and Fiery Blue Mustang are two of the most common flaming drinks. In order to get it to flame up it must be 40% ethanol by volume which is 80 proof. Any alcohol that is 80 proof or higher is easily ignited.

flaming dr.pepper , light a shooter of 151 on fire and drop into a beer, then down the whole thing at one time, it tastes like dr. pepper!

grand marnier does a pretty good job, baked alaska (dessert with ice cream center and merengue- the brandy gets flamed before pouring on top of the alaska) for dessert....
