Her looks might get my attention, but if she isn't intelligent or interesting, that attention is quickly lost. I try to see her personality, exactly as you said.
When I like them, I look at them a lot, try to talk to them and get to know them more.

OK, Jacky, here we go:
1. From a distance, the first thing we see is probably hair. And we probably see blonde hair from the furthest distance.
2. A little closer and we can notice the figure. Height, weight, and proportions. Clothes, too. Country, city, frumpy, slutty, they all send a message.
3. Closer still, and we can see your face. We'll notice the smile and the eyes first, but next but not least will be the expression(s) on your face. They say a lot.
4. Close enough to hear you now. If you sound intelligent and not bitchy, we'll want to eavesdrop some more. Maybe we'll find an excuse to squeeze into the conversation, just to find out more about you.
5. Now it's a matter of how you react to what we say. And this is a biggie: What you ask us. A smart dude told me a long time ago, "If you talk to a girl for 5 minutes, and she doesn't ask you a single question about yourself, you're wasting your time. Move on."
I wrote a bunch more, but realized you don't give your age. So I'm not gonna add it in case you're 14 or something.

What makes me interested is a nice bright smile, a charming personality and just that indescribable something that makes me even more attracted to her.
At first I see just the tip of the iceberg of her personality. The signs I give are the usual, go on dates, what I say and what I do to show her that I like them.

ok well my girlfriend she's not the prettiest in the world, but i still think she is, it's not just the looks believe it or not. well i speak for myself, i think a lil of both matters but i think it's the personality that attracts me more. me and my girlfriend have alot in common and that's what attracts me to her. she's cute and does cute things idk it's just the way she acts and treats me that makes me love her so much. well i got off a lil there but the point is that if ur with a guy and he respects u and doesn't care what u look like then u know u got one of a kind.

Really, it depends on the guy....
different guys admire different things in women....
as far as showing that we like girls,
i dont know how to describe it so much
that for us guys its like we break down
our usual social interaction forms....well
do something different..risky...
and yes...guys do see personality,
we just dont talk about it...

Depends.
Each girl brings something different to the bed... er, relationship.

First, her body curves. Then her face...is it cute and unassuming?
Next, (Now it gets serious) does she have a sense of humor?
Is she nice to others? Waiters, waitresses, people in crosswalks....
