Hinduism is lost in Translation! The so called caste was just the profession without any racial connotation as is evident from what you've said. Brahmin is the word for a religious teacher, kshatriya for soldier, vaishya for businessman and shudra for worker. But people don't seem to be offended by the english words. The british classified them as caste to divide indian society along their own racist bigotted thinking calling it caste by birth while it was by profession in the old times. As it is today in many cases people followed the profession of their father but there was always people that moved around. Caste was never fixed and there are various examples one can find in the epics.
Even today people respect a person for his knowledge as a Brahmin no matter what his so called "caste". Yogguru Baba Ramdev comes from a Yadav family but give me one hindu who does not revere him as a Brahmin.
In todays times it has been used as a tool by antinationalist forces to divide hindu society so they keep fighting each other while they prosper.
The aryan Invasion theory was also devised for the white man to take credit for anything worthwhile achieved in the Indian civilisation. They were astonished to find an advanced civilisation in the old times in India with cities that had plumbing and a sewer system in place and attributed all this achievement to the Aryan white man. While "Arya" in sanskrit only means one of noble deeds, they made it out to be a racial connotation.

Asura was not a caste as inferred in the question. It was a race. The race was well known for its bravery and prosperity. It was also known for a deviant approach to Aryan life style. Those living their lives righteously were called brahmins.Brahmins were mentally much developed. Ravana was a great intellectual for which he was respected by all as a brahmin.

I agree with the user "keep trying". Brahmana Kshatriya Vaishya and Sudra were "Vargams" (Divisions) and not castes. it is something like division of labour and the doers became experts in their profession. Everyone in their family followed the traditions and were governed by some code of conduct and naturally the generations that followed watched and learnt their skills from their fathers . The traders (Vaishyas) were experts in trading and the warriors (Kshatriyas) were expert in Wars. Somewhere along the years , the whole concept has changed and today , anyone can do any job they want. This was purely Division of labour and not caste based.

if ur not teaching then ur not a teacher..........

"KSHATRIYA"("soldier") is not a person it's a duty......if ur not doing soldier's duty then ur not a soldier..........
