Well I have heard of many people who have Squirrels as pets. Go to Google and click on images of squirrels, you will find hundreds if not thousands of pictures.

I have squirrels all over my yard and think they are neat. I love to watch them since they do so many interesting things.

I do like squirrels, but I particularly love my ground squirrels - 3 black-tailed prairie dogs.

The regular squirrels you see in trees do not make good pets as they are predisposed to being aggressive. I am sure there are some people out there that had one that was wonderful, but that's pretty rare.
I prefer to admire their fluffy little butts from afar. I have several that live in my trees and chatter at me any time I get near...which means they are ungrateful little furbutts because I feed them.
Of course, I love rats too...so you might not want to use me as a reference. :-p

I can't say much about squirrels my friend, all I know is that I love them as much as I love other animals... ^_^
What I love about them is the way they open nuts and eat them, and yes, the furry tail too... Squirrels reminded me of my long gone pet hamster too...

yes they are really cute, i see lots of them near my grandfathers house, timid though and wild....i used to keep a ferret when i was a kid too...called COCO....
very cute, nasty little nip on him though!
