Are there any free wav convertor programs out there that arent just for evaluation?

Im looking for a program thats free to convert wavs to mp3s. help!!!!!!

Yes, you can do it with LAME. It's completely free.

or you can use iTunes, it has an encoder built in.

There are tons of such programs in both Windows and Linux although Linux is the one with them being shipped together and free and not expiring while truly free Windows programs of this type is few.

You can do this with Itunes. just select the song and go to advanced and click convert to mp3
