Don't answer the door. Or don't be at home

Call her and tell her, in a serious voice, that you meant what you said when you said you would not watch the children anymore, and that she was NOT to bring them to your house on thursday. Don't get mixed up in an arguement with her, if she tries to drag you into something just keep saying over and over "I've already made my decision." and don't weaken, even once or she'll find a way to walk all over you.

If she shows up at the door thursday, just say, "I told you I wasn't going to watch them." and then shut the door. Don't worry about ruining your friendship at this point. If she won't respect you when you have told her straight out NO, then she isn't a friend anyway.

Call her the night before and remind her that you will not be available to watch her children the next day. Tell her you just wanted to make sure she remembered and made other plans for the kids' care. Don't be at home when she would normally bring the kids over. If you give in once, you're going to be watching those kids...

If you really don't want to do it anymore, then have a serious talk with her. Make sure she understands that you will not be watching them anymore and she needs to find someone else. You could remind her the day before, to make sure she remembers.

In writing, tell her you don't want to babysit anymore. Be tactful and kind. Have the letter witnessed by a parent. Send it in the mail to her registered. Keep a copy for yourself. If you don't show up, it becomes her bust.

Let her know that you're not joking. Be nice about it though, you don't want to lose a friend. If she's a true friend, she'll understand and respect your decision.
