First tattoo Christ upon your heart spiritually I mean, if after he is enthroned upon you heart and soul you still feel a desire for this tat then by all means do what you feel led to do. You will not go to hell for a tat.

There is no Scriptural basis for doing it....let them show you chapter and verse....

Is it sinful....

As with most things in life, it depends on "why"

Is it honor the Son of God, I find nothing in the Bible that opposes it, but is it to be prideful then it will be another case....

Leviticus 19:28 'You shall not make any cuts in your body for the dead, nor make any tattoo marks on yourselves: I am the LORD.

Ask the Lord in prayer and wait for a clear answer, even if it is not in this age....

Sola Scriptura

Huh? If your fellow christians told you to jump off a bridge, would you do that too? What does ingraving a cross on your arm have to to do with your faith in Christ? Where in the bible does it imply that this will make you closer with God?

I do not believe there is anything wrong with tattoos.

The Bible does say your body is a temple. So you have to decide if you are some how messing that up.

I can not tell you what you should do.

I personally do not recommend tattoos to anyone.

well, it will hurt, you could get an infection and you will have to be very careful how you behave because others will know you are a Christian and will be waiting to see you sin.

How's that for a late night run-on sentence? I think I need to go to bed.

From a Biblical point of view it is frown upon, because you are not supposed to vandalize God's temple, which is your body. From a real-life point of view, it is just stupid. Why would you want to?

Its a sin if you don't have faith. Its God's body not your friends body. You belong to Him.

Rom 14:
23: And he that doubteth is damned if he eat, because he eateth not of faith: for whatsoever is not of faith is sin.

Why do I have to be a 'chirstian' to tell you that's a bad idea?
