It must be difficult to defend the idea of god and the bible when people keep throwing logic into the equation. I think that the god of the old testament, is currently having a disagreement with the god of the new testament, while they're fighting, the dark lord satan is in charge, Hence GW Bush is the stolen office of the white house

You speak of YAHWEH in the old testament Who was a jealous God and guided his people through most of the battles written of in the old testament. In the new testament jesus death and resurrection took place of blood sacrifice and spoke of forgiveness. Wars have always been and always will be fought by men. God may have intervened throughout history but in the end its mans blood that spills. May god be on the side of the righteous.

confident it does. The writers of the recent testomony used the Greek translated previous testomony observed as the Septuagint as a source to jot down their memories. Had the previous testomony reported the Messiah could have crimson puffy clown hair, the recent testomony writers could have written that Jesus had crimson puffy clown hair. it relatively is not precisely pleasing prophecy. some data to assist that's the place between the writers misunderstands an OT quote and has Jesus driving into city on 2 donkeys as a replace of one. yet another occasion could be in Matthew a million:23 the place he describes the delivery of Jesus pleasing the prophecy of Isaiah 7:14, even asserting Jesus could be everyday as Immanuel. yet once you study Isaiah 7 and eight the new child that Isaiah grew to become into speaking approximately grew to become into his own new child and grew to become into meant as an illustration for King Ahaz some seven hundred years in the past the meant delivery of Jesus. no longer in basic terms did Matthew lie, yet he verified that he had expertise of the e book of Isaiah and twisted it for his own purpose. additionally not one of the NT writers claimed to have been eyewitnesses to something. Mark says his Gospel is in line with what Peter advised him, Matthews grew to become into base on what Paul advised him and Luke in his first paragraph states he's no longer an eyewitness yet in basic terms investigating christianity. Matthew and Luke use Mark as a source so their memories are in an identical order and there are places the place they copied Mark, be conscious for be conscious. even although the NT is a paganized version of the OT, only because of the fact the NT is fake, would not make the OT actual.

Well, seeing as God whispered in our Esteemed Leader W's ear and told him to wage this war than I would say that he is on the side of Might and Right - the good ol' US of A.

Who said God supports war at all? A "Holy Book" that was written centuries ago by men? God supports love and peace, not senseless murder in His name.

I dunno... I'm having a little problem answering this because it's asking me to participate in a question that sort of props up the idea that there really is a god.... (puke and vomit).
Ok, ok... A pretend war god would... (No. This is too silly !)
... A pretend god of war from yesteryear would be... (Oh I just can't do it... !) (Grrr.)
...A pretend war god from the old days would be on the side of... the bad guys. Take your pick. (Barf.)
Asking stupid questions about what imaginary might gods do or think is disgusting.... Really. What's the point?

Just because God was involved with wars in the past, doesn't mean he was a part of all wars nor does it mean that he is on any side in any current war.

Joshua asked this, and this was God's answer:
Josh 5:
13 ¶ And it happened, when Joshua was beside Jericho, he lifted up his eyes and looked. And, behold, there stood a Man in front of him with His sword drawn in His hand. And Joshua went to Him and said to Him, Are You for us, or for our foes?
14 And He said, No, but I have come as the Commander of the army of the LORD. And Joshua fell on his face to the earth. And he worshiped and said to Him, What does my Lord say to His servant?

The OT god died of an untreated venereal disease. He got drunk and was bragging to Zeus about how he could do the swan trick so much better. Anyways, it's hard to say who he'd be fighting for now because unlike your assumption, the OT god was anything but constant. He was by all accounts trying to move humanity along by interjecting strife at random points.
