medical radiologist technician

they can be used in any hospital with X-ray (or similiar) technology

this includes not only hopsitals in the USA or Eurpope, but most certainly would include hospitals in the war zone

Simply.....where ever the Army needs you
They definitely deploy to Iraq.....you can be assigned to any unit that has a authorized radiology slot
What ever unit you are assigned to is typically the unit you will serve with ( and go with if it is deployed)..... unless you request reassignment or the service has a critical shortage in your MOS

If you are concerned about the possibility that you get shot at, mortared or otherwise placed in the cross-hairs of some weapon DO NOT JOIN. Pretty simple huh.

If you want to be trained to do a job that commands pretty decent pay on the outside, you will take your chances just like we who came before did. You could get lucky like I did. 9 years and no combat zone. Until recently I NEVER heard this concern. Must be the fine education received in recent years that creates all this whining.

You will go where they say, when they say. Period. End of story.

It all depends on what unit you go to. They do have field hospitals in Iraq and every other country the army deploys to.

Ok first of all I am not in the military, but I do know my ****, dad was in the Army, so is brother and husband, cousins and uncles in Marines and Air Force, it does not matter what job you have, if your unit is deploying, so will you, whether you are active, reserve, or guards.

Do some thing amusing with him. Play a sport or cross play basketball or some thing. Before you understand it, you can each be grown up and most likely regretting the truth that you did not spend time with him. I remorse it day-to-day. Don't be egocentric. He surely loves you and desires your concentration. Be the gigantic sister and be there for him.
