Just say that you were a part-time student and a part-time teacher, and managed to make your days fit in together. Could you be a teacher and a student at the same school, or are there rules that say you can't be?

Yes, you can be a teacher and a student in the same school. however, that would have to be at the university level. There have been many certified teachers who teach at the college level, but also take extra course work or even work on their doctorate at that same school. Also, many H.S. and Elementary teachers take extension courses from universities, but housed at their place of employment.

I don't think there is a problem or a rule,
but it would depend on a school policy.
I taught pottery at a junior college in 1986
and at night took a class in
Comparative Religions,
some people that were in my pottery class
were also taking the other class, too.
I think it will depend on what the policy is at each school.

it is possible... i know a lot of my teachers who would teach during the day and then attend classes at night. A lot of teachers do this to get a higher degree while working... or to change their job with an easy transition.

Yes, its possible. At a college or university.

I'm sure it frequently happens that graduate students, people studying for a Masters or Doctorate degree, would teach undergraduate classes.

Any good teacher will naturally learn things from their students. And a ton of teachers further their education in Master's programs and so on.

Well, in college I'm sure you could pull if off so long as you where not a student in the department you where teaching in. It would totally compromise your relationship with your students.

I've had teachers that were going to night classes to get a degree in something they didn't have. It is hard but they do it.
