It is to train military leaders!

This is the first paragraph of their website!

"The mission of the United States Military Academy is "to educate, train, and inspire the Corps of Cadets so that each graduate is a commissioned leader of character committed to the values of Duty, Honor, Country and prepared for a career of professional excellence and service to the Nation as an officer in the United States Army."

You really should proof read your posts. Your grammar and syntax are so bad it makes it difficult to answer your question.
West Point is a top quality Military Academy designed to create Army officers. It is a four year school that awards the top ten percent of it's graduates an engineering degree. The Navy has an equivelent academy at Annapolis Maryland. The degree awarded is respected around the world. Consequently the criteria for erollment is strictly controlled and you must compete with the finest brains in America for a slot. I do not believe you need worry about attending anytime soon.

West Point exists to educate career Army officers If you want the Army as a career, and as an officer, this is the place to go.
Sure, you can become an Army officer via the ROTC route at an accredited 4 year college, but West Point is the ultimate prize..
Their honor code should be lived by everybody. "I shall not lie, cheat or steal or tolerate those who do."

Westpoint is a 4 yr military college. Upon graduation the cadet recieves his/her commision. In order to attend you must have highly competetive standardized test scores and grades, usually you must be active in sports and your community. Also you must recieve a recomendation from the president, ,vice president, a senator or representative in order to be considered. If you are a descendant of a MoH recipient you are automatically admitted.

It is for training and educating future Army 2LTs. If they make it through the get a BE, now a BA can be earned, and commissioned as a 2LT. To get in you have to be single, no college credits transfer in, I believe the age cut off is 24.
