When you buy pizza from a pizzeria, do you usually give tip? If so, how much and how often?

It doesn't matter if the pizza is good. You should always tip someone who serves you. atleast 10 - 20 % based on service. It's rude to not tip because most of their income is based off of tips. I worked as a waitress for 5 years and I always served on time and with a smile...there were many times when a customer wouldn't tip me at all even when their bill came up to $200 or more. I always tip a pizza guy atleast 3 - 5 bucks. It's just a nice gesture.

It depends on whether or not it's 'dine in' or take-out. If it's 'dine in' and the place is clean, the sevice is good, the waiter/waitress is polite and caring, I leave him/her a tip usually ranging from 2 to 3 dollars. If I'm in a really good mood maybe even 4.

If you eat it there and are "served" then yes a 20% to the wait person is appropriate, if delivered then about 4 dollars, if you pick up then no tip

Yeah i do, i like to keep the people who handle my food happy. Depending on how much im spending i tend to tip 3-5 bucks.

When I go pick it up myself, they give me a discount.

When the owner tries to strike up a conversation and he/she is pleasant, I give the discount back plus a dollar as a tip.

When it gets delivered, the kids look like they are waiting for a tip so I give them a dollar or two.

If it's delivered, 5.00 MINIMUM; the guy has to drive his car to your house, using his gas and his vehicle and counts on tips, unlike a waitress who walks from the kitchen pickup window to your table and expects 20 percent whether she gave good service or not. If you pick up your pizza yourself, no, no tip.
