Do you have an FTP program to use? There are lots of them out there. I've had a few clients just learning FTP who have told me they've enjoyed use 'Core FTP.' It's pretty easy to use and their lite version is free. You can download it here:

After you install your FTP program you need to setup a site, the website you want to connect to. So, you'll need to know your login name (or Username) and your password. Once you have that information, you insert that into your FTP site manager program.

Your website will be your Host Site in your Core FTP program, so you would enter it as: http://www.yoursitehere.com along with your username and password. Following, you would click connect and it should then connect to your website.

Generally you want to look for the folder on your site labeled "/public_html" as that is where your web pages and graphics will go.

I hope this helps.

FTP = File Transfer Protocol. Not relatively a lot to be taught approximately it, simply discover an FTP application and you'll switch documents to an FTP server. Most normal case is importing documents for a internet site.
