Because they have been fighting the battle in the flesh rather then with spiritual weapons. Therefore they have become tired and weary. The bible says that those who wait upon the Lord will take up with wings as eagles, the will run and not be weary, they shall walk and not faint. The body of Christ is fainting for they are a divided body fighting within themselves and also the battle with the world. But also because many things must come to pass and governments must fall that the prophesies of the last days might come to pass.

Now I am concerened. Can you define the term you are refering to as `Christians?` Are you including all those world religions that teach the message of christ and the new testament? or are you refering to those that describe themselves asa `born again`? There are many sucular orders that exist with the christian message and I can`t help but wonder who or what is feeding the apparent religious insecurity that I am getting from these questions and answers. If you provide more detail then I may well agree with you, but as it stands I can`t really see where this is going. I don`t see the surrender of any one. I do see shifts within organised religion toward a more spiritual understanding with in their teachings to me it doesn`t say surrender. It says more rejoice.

Not I. I am a very shy person, but I won't let this make me compromise my beliefs in any way at all. There seems to be a large chasm forming even amongst Christians - those that believe evolution and various other frauds. Even Pat Robertson believes in the "big bang". I was extremely shocked when I learned about this needless to say...

Read the end of the Book. God always wins. I’m a Christian, so I’m on the winning team.
If you worship satan, you’re worshiping a dead man walking. God’s going to turn him to ashes from within after He’s done using him to fulfil the negative side of His plan.

I dont care how shhhhmart you are. I know that you are wrong. What do think because your brain understands that he must not exists I'm supposed to be scared. Bring it on. I know Jesus is Lord. I think you need to re-evaluate. We are not just lying down and letting the world run over us. There are plenty of Christians fighting the good fight. Check out ACLJ.org.

Matthew 7:6- I care about the word, it's precious to me. God can handle the disobedient whenever He chooses. Sometimes I get frustrated with their ignorance, but I was there before. We shall sow seeds of righteousness and reap the blessings of the Father Almighty.

Christians aren't losing. It just looks that way. A lot of us are fighting on our knees (figuratively speaking).

They're losing, because they're wrong. They have legions of theologians working tirelessly to battle a few secular minds, and the best they can come up with is junk like Pascal's wager.
There's just no way to sell patent nonsense to those who are willing to think.
