Problem With Maximize command?

Hi friends ,
Whenever i maximize any folder,internet explorer or any other software.
It just hides taskbar and apears full screen.
Kindly help ........

There is maximize (click on the single box icon at the top right of the screen), and
there is the "full screen." With full screen, menus are lost and the whole window is open for viewing.
To restore the menu, press Alt+ V.
