I don't know what's wrong with me. I'm only 15 and should be perfectly healthy. I've been having dizzy spells, head aches, tingling in the back of my head and in my feet, and I lose time without remembering what happened. It's really starting to scare me. I recently lost my appatite and haven't eaten much in the last two days. I've tried talking to my parents about it but they think I'm imagining things. What do you think?

Forgot to mention that I've never smoked, drank alcohol, or did drugs.

No seizures at all. I'm not eptileptic and it doesn't run in my family. Don't know if this is related or not but my muscles are often hurting and aching and today I noticed a brown spot on my foot. It looked like I had gotten something sticky on the side of it but I tried washing it off but it wouldn't come off.

Could be ANYTHING. Nonetheless, you need to see a neurologist -- PRONTO. Do you have a trusted adult you can have talk to your parent's on your behalf? (older sibling, aunt, uncle, teacher, school nurse, etc?) Maybe your parent's may take your concerns seriously if they hear it from someone whose opinion they trust.
When I was a little younger than you (11 years old), I started experiencing unusual symptoms as well. My parents also thought I was making things up. For YEARS I lived with constant fear and frustration, and spent many years deeply depressed. My grades suffered terribly, as well as my relationship with my sisters and parents.
Ten years later, after being misdiagnosed twice, I FINALLY received an accurate diagnosis: Narcolepsy (the sleeping disorder), and 4 years after that I found out that I also have Multiple Sclerosis. (Sure any diagnosis sucks, but now that I know I can treat the symptoms and live a normal life).
Anyhoo, so I can relate to the confusion and frustration you may be feeling.

One thing you have to realize, doctors are not miracle workers, especially when it comes to unusual symptoms like yours. You’ll need to provide him with as much info and details as possible to even know where to begin. (Most neurological conditions are not easily diagnosed. It’s not like most other doctors who can take a throat culture or blood test and say, “Oh, I see! You have… blah blah disease.” Anything to do with the brain is 100 times more complicated than that).

The neurologist is not with you when you lose time, have a dizzy spells, etc. In order for your doctor to correctly diagnose you, he/she is going to rely on YOU to provide accurate details, descriptions, etc. PLEASE DO NOT RELY ON YOUR MEMORY. Just remember: MANY conditions cause the symptoms you have described. The neurologist cannot feel what you feel; cannot experience what you experience. So you have to be as descriptive as possible to make sure you are clear about YOUR symptoms. K?
Just think: If you had to solve a puzzle, you’d need as many clues as possible, right? Well, the neurologist is trying to solve the puzzle of what is going on in your body and will need as many clues as possible.
So, for AT LEAST 2 weeks, keep a journal. Log the EXACT times of your symptoms, what time of day, where you were, what you were doing, etc. Also log details such as what time you go to bed and when you wake up. Log EVERY change you have that is unusual for you, even your moods. (Sometimes seemingly unrelated symptoms can be major clues for a neurologist. This is what happened with me! I did not realize that my waking up 4-5 times a night is a symptom of Narcolepsy (fragmented sleep), so I never mentioned it to my doctor!! No wonder it took him 10 years to correctly diagnose me!! …And REMEMBER to take your log book with you to your appointment!!

…I know this may seem like a lot all at once. But, trust me, be persistent and you most likely will get answers. Then you can deal whatever it is and move on with your life…
I wish you the VERY BEST of luck.

...After reading the additional details you provided, my first thought is possibly Lyme Disease... Either way, SEE A DOCTOR... FAST.

Epilepsy
Talk to your medical doctor about referring you to a neurologist.
Your symptoms suggest the mildest of cases and can be treated (controlled) with medication.
Search the web for epilepsy - web md - wikipedia and read up on it.
Absence seizure - blank out and lose time, stare off into no-mans land with a blank stare.
Partial seizure - dizzy spells, involuntary motor actions (twitching, jerking, eyes roll back).

Well, first dont blame yourself. You just havent met the right guy, yet. If you are nice, laidback, easygoing, not pushy, openminded, pretty, and funny, then you have alot of nice qualities going for you. Dont change and before you know it, when you're not even looking, that special guy will come along that will love all those things about you and more.

you need to go and see a doctor. what you are talking about is not normal or healthy. you could be having an epileptic fit?? or have you been in a car accident recently or another accident where you have had a severe reaction (or could have had a severe reaction)? i'd say the appetite MIGHT be something different but i'm not a medical expert so i'd say discuss that with your doctor as well.

Tell your parents that this is serious, that you need a medical exam and if they don't respond, you need to get help from a school counselor and/or involve child protective services.
