First of all, running that vehicle with a loose or missing fuel cap will set an evaporative emissions failure code and turn on the check engine light, so that is not a good idea!

Seeing as it is a 2007, it is most likely under warranty, so I would take it in for service. If it is out of warranty, have the computer scanned for codes and work from there!

Take it to the dealer it should be under warranty.
Sound like a fuel filter issue / bad gas.

take off the fuel cap and see if it runs better.sounds like vapor lock.
