There are a couple of charter boats that are just day cruises to the islands. Mostly Nassau. You can stay over there and then come home. Or if you had a friend that had a large enough boat they could drive you over.

Transportation is available by land, sea or air. You have eliminated sea and air. That only leaves land. The closest you are going to get via land is Key West.
