Catholic crusader is on a crusade to show the Catholic church is the true church tonight. I had planned to leave Catholics alone but someone needs to show the truth. Have you read the parable of the wheat and the tares in Matthew. Have you ever thought about it this way. Jesus is the planter. He planted the wheat. The true gospel. Then the Catholic church came in and planted man's tradition (the tares). Rather than being the true church is it possible instead that the Catholics have planted the tares in the wheat of the Lord?

As you know, I was born and raised in the Catholic church, being saved by God's grace and born again into Christ only a couple years ago.

Looking at my time in the Catholic church, I think of it as the seeds that are sown in unstable ground, unable to grow, un-nurtured by His truth and Word. Without true study of the Bible, how can one grow in the Lord and personally know our Savior and Lord? How can you mature as a believer without that time in God's Word? You can't. Hence, the Catholic church being the seed that does not grow.

Another anology or parable one can use, and please excuse me, friend, I do not know the verse, but you may be able to help out here, is the one about the vine growing, and the branches that do not bear fruit being pruned, or cut away. Maybe it's in Romans? That, again, is the Catholic church.

Hope I made sense here. Kinda past my bedtime on the east coast. LOL

God bless. Another awesome question.

VERY POSSIBLE...

1. Who was the source of tares? They were planted by "the enemy."

2. Why was this done? To try and confuse the workers and diminish the TRUE harvest of REAL "wheat."

3. How can the intrusion be dealt with? Only in the end can they be successfully separated. The mature "wheat" is distinctive.

... Good point.

Yes the catholic church teaches a false christianity but anyone that mascarades or acts or even thinks they are a christian, but isn't, will be gathered away to burn after they are separated from the true christians (wheat). In the separation process a device that was once used to do the separating was called a tribulum. Sound familiar? During the Tribulation, the true bleivers will be separtated from the false believers. God isn't even referring to other non believers (even though they will be separated from God too) outside the christian church, because they are easy to recognize since they aren't professing Jesus anyway, but it is a false christian that is hard to recognize unless one knows the Truth-Jesus, and understands some scripture. Jesus said that not all that came to Him would see the kingdom of God. And that many would come in His name saying they cast out demons, did miracles or great works, in His name etc.... and He will say to them that He never knew them; workers of wickedness.

In the parable of the wheat and the tares, Christ explained that He Himself is the Sower. He spreads His redeemed seed, true believers, in the field of the world. Through His grace, these Christians bear the fruit of the Spirit (Galatians 5:22-24).

The enemy in the parable is Satan. In opposition to Jesus Christ, the devil tries to destroy Christ’s work by placing false believers and teachers in His Church. Instead of requiring these false believers to be rooted out of the church—possibly hurting immature believers in the process, Christ allows them to stay until His return. Then, angels will separate the true from false believers.

I would say that the tares that were planted were from the devil. The Catholic church is a victim of the devil.

GOD bless

And Jesus said to leave the tares alone and they will be separated out at the end of the age.

The true church is where two or more gather in the name of Jesus. The bible says the kingdom of God is in you.

That is something like it. I guess you could see it that way, but I think that it is more generalized.
The city on seven hills will burn with her fornication with the anti christ. Thats all I have to say about that.
