I have owned over 11 wolf hybrids in my short life. They are great dogs. What some may say about them being evil, crazy, untrainable, and so on, is just untrue. Its just an excuse that was made up by bad dog owners who have bought one, and had know idea about training and what not, and just blamed it all on the dog. If they had bought something like a Labrador or Golden Retriever, they would have most likely have had the same result in how bad their dog turned out.
Wolf Hybrids are wonderful, friendly, loyal and loving dogs, that people are scared of just because of made up myths and rumors.
I would trust my wolf hybrids with children of any age, they won't hurt anyone.
My Wolf Hybrids are half German Shepherd, and the puppy in my avatar is one of them.

My friend had 2 hybrids, only thing is now a days there is alot of regulations on owning wolf/hybrids, so it is best for you and the pet to make sure your state, city allows for the animals to be pets. And to make sure there are vets that will care for them. I remember they had some problems with house breaking them, they ate alot of the flooring in the kitchen and such, but his parents was pretty dimwitted so im sure that had alot to do with there behavior. They no matter what tried to get out of the yard alot, they wanted to run. So imo, unless you can devote alot of time, training and such i wouldn't recommend for the normal pet owner, there is always that wild part in them that doesn't want to be a pet. Which it shouldn't be, but we are greedy and believe we own everything><

A friend of mine did have wolves or part wolves as pets...First he got a male and a female...They were part alaskan pin wolf and something else...He had to put them on metal runners because they would disapper for days...Then you would read in the papers about sheep and small cattle found dead...Then he adopted a wolf straight from alaska...I guess theres only a few people trhere that can breed and sell these dogs...It came with papers and everything...He was locked up in a fence with his dog house next to a tree...The dog wanted out really bad..He climbed up the treee and tried to jump over the fence...It was to bad he was tied up to the tree....

If it acts like a dog then it is. Wolf's have very large paws. A lot of people mistake dogs for wolfs and there are many of these poor defenseless animals pts everyday due to ignorance. How does it act?
