You will have your finger prints taken, you will have blood drawn for DNA, and you will have at the least a basic background check. This is to verify you are who you say you are and you are able to hold a minimal security clearance of some type. and to be able to identify you if you are ever killed in action... There are other things they do. But I wont dwell on them to much... I still have boot camp flash backs and Ive been in the Military for over 20 years...LOL

no, you do not get fingure printed. but yes, you do get finger printed before you leave the meps (military entrance processing station) on your enlistment day (as long as you pass your ASVAB) at least you do not have to study for your drug test.
