I noticed that a lot of women go for guys with good looks.... especially those coming from different cultural/ethnic backgrounds. And those people with rare looks are most difficult to find.

Take for example Orlando Bloom as opposed to Phillip Seymour Hoffman... or Denzel Washington as opposed to Don Cheadle.... or Russell Wong as opposed to Jackie Chan.

Remember... I'm only referring to the physical attributes of these celebrities.

Can you ladies shed some light on this and why good looks is good chemistry?

Well, that's how a girl will notice you, is if she finds you good-looking. Women have different tastes, and some may find Orlando Bloom repulsive and Phillip Seymour Hoffman dreamy, and other women have the opposite opinion.

well its exactly the same coming from a mans perspective... Look at the playboy mansion only hot girls allowed. Exclusive clubs... hot girls can get in without being on the list. Tell me why most men will open a door for a hot blonde with big **** and then close it on the short blonde with no ****. Think about this and thats ur answer. In fact you will probably find most men are like this where as only a small percentage of women are like this.

Looks and chemistry aren't synonymous. I've gone out with some good looking guys, but there was simply no chemistry...I've gone out with guys that I wouldn't have given a second look to if I'd passed them on the street, but been so attracted to them that I could hardly stand it.

Humans are visual creatures, so looks are part of the whole appeal...however, since they are subjective, what one person finds appealing another might not. Looks are not usually all one bases attraction on however...

I go for intelligence, integrity and a sense of humour every time. I don't look like a Barbie doll, but I'm incredibly smart and can carry on a conversation in a wide variety of subjects. I also have a great sense of humour. give me character, and leave the "model" types for the shallow women who care about that kind of stuff.

girls melt when the guy looks 'hot'. cos all human likes to look at beautiful things. and to be able to go out and date a good looking guy is the dream of all girls. but dating and marrying is two different thing. when a girl is dating for a life long partern, she will be looking for someone she loves, need not be good looking. but if the person happen to be good looking, then good. bonus point. so the first concern is still character. cheers.:)

Good looks isn't always good chemistry. Some are good-looking and probably as shallow as ever. Answer this, wouldn't you like your lady to be good-looking? Or you're not bothered at all?

well I cant answer for all ladies but I beleive that there has to be an attraction (sexually) for a relationship to work.
I wouldn't get with someone that I wouldn't sleep with or be embarrased to be seen around. (that sounded a little vain)

but thats just my opinion

intercourse attraction concerns to me, yet that's no longer based fullyyt on seems. character has plenty to do with what makes a guy eye-catching. i could date a guy who grew to become into no longer goodlooking if i got here across him attractive, and men could be attractive without being truly goodlooking.
