There are 2 things on the top of my motor on our 1993 Grand Prix SE. I know they are called dog bones. I was wondering what the correct name for them is ....so I can look them up at auto zone? Thanx

you could attempt the suspicious coil with a volt/ohmmeter particularly quite to make sure. Set the variety to the utmost resistance available then touch the attempt probes first to the two severe voltage spark plug connections. in case you get a analyzing this is nice; if there is not any exchange interior the show this is undesirable (burned out). Now turn the coil over and attempt the low-voltage terminals on the back; back, if voltage flows this is okay, and if the resistance analyzing would not exchange, this is undesirable. finally touch one probe to the two severe voltage plug terminal and the different probe to the two between the low voltage common terminals. There could be no voltage pass in any respect; if there is the coil is undesirable (shorted). BTW: while appearing those exams this is substantial which you do not touch the steel recommendations of the probes! Doing so might reason fake useful readings.

top engine mounts or torque struts. If you talk to a counter man with a pulse, he/she will know what you need, if your call it a dogbone.
(check lower motor mounts too!)
