i woudl say 8 to 12 but go more to 12 as my sister got one that they said was 8 weeks and it turn out to be like 4 weeks she had trouble with the cat all its life it gets sick alot and doesnt know how to use a litter tray cuz the mother never got to show it. for best results go for 12 weeks and make sure after 10 you start seperating them from the mother and stuff so that its not too stressfull when they go to a new home just think how you would feel goin from being with your mum and siblings to a strange house alone.

Kittens are weened at 8 weeks. I no some people will say earlier, but 8 weeks is better.

when the kittens are able to eat and drink independently of their mother, its ok to give them away. i would try to con the kitties new owners into taking them two at a time because everyone knows that two cats keep each other company, are no more trouble to clean up after, are happier together, etc.

Never under 8 weeks of age. Until then the mother is teaching them and weaning is taking place. This makes for a better cat who is well adjusted.

def. 8 or more weeks. too early can be harmful and scary to the kitten.
