I say that you should just be very careful. He might turn out to be a stalker, or a phychopathic killer, but on the other hand he might turn out to be a great guy. First of all, show up late and try to spot him before he sees you. If you get a bad vibe, then ditch the place. its not like he knows where you live. also, for this first date, be sure it is more like you are going out with a friend. make it some activity in public and not like a private dinner or something.
