i really miss having a cellphone, and my mom wont let me get one again, because last time i had a plan, i didnt pay the bill one time, so my mom shut it off. ive been with this prepaid phone right now, and i just saw that T-mobile has the Flexpay Plan. i told my mom about it, and she said it was okay. until i went to the retail store, and they said i had to be 18 to get it. then they told me if i could find someone whos 18 to sign it for me, i could get it. i told my mom this and shes worried it will ruin her credit if i forget to pay the bill.

anyone have any answers?

i understand where you all are coming from, but when i did have a normal cellphone, i was 14, im 17 now

and also, do you guys know exactly what flexpay is? because its pretty much like a prepaid plan, so thats why i was wondering if it would mess up ones credit, because it shouldnt, according to the site, and the man at the retail store, if you dont pay a bill one month the phone is just shut off after 90 days

Good credit is about the most valuable thing a person can have and she knows from hard experience you can't be depended on to pay the bill on time. You're stuck w/pre-paid until you're 18 or you can sucker her into putting you on her account.

It will ruin her credit if she does pay, if she trust you to pay she is taking a major gamble.
