If by Americans, you mean "white Americans" then you should rephrase your loaded question. Firstly, not all americans believe in God and not all bad things that happen to people of color (american or otherwise) are perpetuated by white Americans, let alone white people as a whole. If you were to check a newspaper or any legitimate news website you would see that there are plenty of color on color crimes. Secondly, you should not group all Americans into a category of sinners against people of color. What instances of racism and hate crimes that occur today cannot possibly be indicitive of all American's behavior. So to answer your question, no. God will not punish one person for another person's sins.

What kind of drug are you on? God will punish all people for sins they commit. Color of skin has nothing to do with it! In Gods eyes we are all equal. You sound prejudiced against all people not of your own race and color. You need to learn to live in the real world! Accept all people as being equal. Sorry for you if you can"t do this. We are all Gods children and should learn to accept each other for what we are. We can all have our own religion, beliefs about life, but try to get along with each other.

That door swings both ways, Son....been a few sins committed against white Americans, by people of color..Let him who is without sin, cast the first stone.....of the approximately 1,700,000 violent crimes committed, where black and white were involved....90 per cent were black on white....info from New Century foundation....

New Century Foundation is a United States 501(c)(3) tax-exempt organization founded in 1994 to "study immigration and race relations so as to better understand the consequences of America’s increasing diversity."

Are you serious? Americans includes many races and religions. And why would God punish a whole nation of people as whole when they have done nothing...You can't blame the sins of past generations on the present. That's not fair.

No. Maybe I'd feel differently if I had commited some sins against these people.

But it's always nice to be lumped in with some group of people. Thumbs up on the stereotyping!!

Your question insinuates that Blacks and other people of color are not Americans though I don't think you intended that. However, not privy to God's mind and plans, it is difficult to guage what he will and will not do.But if you believe in God , you know he does not deal in collective punishment (since he gave each of us free will) ;only in individual accountability.Hence, those who have broken his rules be it against blacks , other people of color, or in any issue are sure to answer to him; regardless of their location in the world.Remember, not every body in America was and is guilty of having wronged black people.

God has always been against slavery. Yes He will punish those who sin against anyone, either black or white or yellow or green or purple.

I believe I will only be punished for my own sins. I am not accountable for the thoughts or deeds of others.

BTW, I was not alive during the time of slavery. None of my White ancestors owned slaves.

_I_ was in the minority growing up. Can you imagine being attacked (both verbally and physically) for no other reason than my relatively light skin? Can you imagine my 4th grade teacher giving me a 'B' because, in her opinion, no White ever deserved an 'A'?

My own ancestors were beaten, tarred and feathered, and forcibly driven from their homes (eg their houses were set on fire while they were still inside) based on religion.

The world does NOT owe you a living just because of your race, no more than it owes me one because of what happened to my people.

That might be kind of strange considering that probably about 30-40 percent of americans are people of color.

I guess some Americans might.

What if I was treated like a minority and I'm really German / Irish / Scottish / Spanish? Does God judge them not as much because I'm really white?

Really, you guys just have to grow up!
