ALOHA SPIRIT: I wouldn't expect you to give up your primary gathering. However, if a dialogue is important, it should be at least prominent. And frequent.

Leaders of my sect have invited leaders of other sects over quite often. Unfortunately not many other sects have responded.

We do not invite leaders of other sects, denominations, or religions to take up time in our regular worship services, though. During our worship services, we should study what we believe.

I was a participant in Interfaith activities for over six years, though.

Our synagogue exchanges speakers with Christian pastors several times a year. That's more than enough for me!
