I have been working on my photography, I want to know if anyone thinks my work is good enough to sell, or good enough to market to draw in customers. If so, tell me which ones you like. If not, tell me how you think I could improve. Constructive critisizm WELCOME! Thanks!

I am shooting film. I am doing these mostly for classes, and I am trying to improve, that is why I asked for comments, so thank you!

Mostly the ones I would expect to sell are the ones NOT of my kids (LOL). In fact, I wouldn't want to sell the ones of my kids to strangers.

Yes, some of it.

Maybe it's just my monitor, but on the image "Park IV", the highlights are overexposed.

The others are properly exposed, but I'm seeing subject that are dead-centered -- I prefer a composition that either puts the subject somewhat off-center with a something complementary in the frame, or a closer shot, using more radical angles (less "snap-shot" appearance).

So, maybe some bracketing to deal with exposure difficulties, and creative composition.

If you're shooting on film, that only makes it more time-consuming and expensive to experiment.

Pink commented on a couple of your images, you have a pleasing style and show sensitivity.. You have some pleasing images and pink is drawn to them. Pink would like to see you plan your shots more, develop ideas and improve the shoot more than use PS to do this. The tools are camera, difussers, reflectors as basic then onwards, its a story about light and using and abusing and stroking it, by using tools to create visions. The other type is recording. Learn about lighting, the flower image is very pleasing. If you got 2 flowers took them home, painted a BG or used a negitive space with some light creation it could be very very brilliant. Anyway Pink is to tired to make sence. Sorry. Put some images on redbubble, read the details about min sales and how much et cetera first. You might get a few sales but not enough to retire on. Pink says shot for the market, create your shots more than record. Pink says ask here about redbubble Pink knows a few here are there and there is here Kali nihta - Good nite

At this point, no. They are fine snapshots for your album, but photographs are rather a hard sell anyway for a beginner. And to be successful in stock, you have to have many images or unique and wonderful ones. Common snapshots just won't cut it.

Your child shots are your best, IMO, although many suffer from poor lighting and exposure, you seem to have captured some good expression. After you evolve some more in your photography, you might consider shooting child portraits, start with friends and family and see where it goes from there.

I recommend a book, "Understanding Exposure", by Bryan Peterson. It will help you see light in a different manner, and guide you toward understanding the exposure process, both from a technical and artistic point of view.

No, they are not marketable images. They are merely snapshots. There is nothing compelling, artistic, or unique about them.
Pictures of family members are rarely prints anyone would want to buy, other than Grandma. Study composition and lighting. Study pictures that you like that you haven't taken and discern why they appeal to you. Would you buy them? Actually pay money? The ones you would buy are the ones you should imitate until you define your own style. Most of your photos are static with the subject dead center. Rule of thirds is sometimes to be broken but not in these snapshots. The lighting is also uninspired.
Haunt the photo sites and mimic until you understand composition and lighting. Learn how others got that special capture.

Of course your work is good enough. If you have the courage to
put it up you know it's good.
They are all good. Get them up there. See if you can display some of your work in art shows.
Get some cards made up. Get a web site. Advertise yourself.
I'm looking for ward to seeing your work in museums.

There's only one real way to find out.

... and it's not by asking other photographers. :}

They're as good as a lot of stuff I've seen in shows... a couple of them have a nice, romantic feel to them, etc... Personally, I think you'd do better with the landscapes...
