Nobody can be 100% certain because nobody has come back to tell us. Maybe nothing,or maybe something none of us can ever imagine.

It"s human nature that we wonder. I don"t dwell too much on it though. Just enjoy life.

Of course. I don't think about it as much as I used to though. When I was around 8-12 years old I would cry every night because I NEEDED to know that something happened after death. It scared me so much. Now, I've just learned to face it.

who hasn't considered that thought? But reality is, nobody really knows. Will there be 72 virgins upstairs? Will there be relatives to welcome you in open arms? Will there be hell where all these which your religion despises suffers? Or would you just simply cease to exist and your body becomes food for earth? Nobody really knows. No one has really ever came back to earth after death saying, "I saw God and he was wearing a flannel shirt, and a budweiser hat."

I wonder exactly what the transition will be, yes. But the bible says, for a believer in Jesus, to be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord. So ultimately, I know what will happen.

I will be re-united with loved ones who have already crossed over Jordan. I will enter through gates made of pearl. I will walk on streets of pure gold. I will have no more pain, sorrow, and tears. I will seat at my Savior's face through all eternity. That will be my HOMECOMING DAY.

No. Psalm 146:4 and Ecclesiastes 9:5,10 tell exactly what happens.

I'm pretty clear about it.

Your vital organs cease to function, and after approximately 24 hours, your body begins the slow process of decomposition.

I often wonder exactly when the green sets in? I know we eventually turn black from decomp, but I think green is first. And the oozing, all the organs oozing out their fluids. And the smell... ewww, the smell must be awful.
