Depending where that pain is actually located, would be of benefit to giving an accurate response. Urinary tract pain would be reflected below the ribs, yet above the hips and away from the spine. Spinal problems would be detected primarily by sharp twinges in the spinal region, when making certain movements.

The one thing you mention is being active in sports. Which should give you relief while being active but, return when in the resting state.. Kidney problem would not afford that temporary relief.

This should be checked out at any rate.. Either one is not something to be left to its own devices.. At such a young age, you don't want to have a chronic condition result, for not taking care of a problem when it arises.

Try an ice bag on your back for no longer than 20 minutes and if it helps repeat it a few times a day. Absorbine JR s great for releiveing back and leg pain.

Hi Pilates is great for strengthening the core muscles to support your spine as it grows. Another place you can go free of charge and no strings attached is your local healing rooms. Find them on www,healingrooms.com Add an au on there if you live in Australia. All my family have had an assortment of things fixed there.
Have a great life. Blessings

try motrin if you are not allergic. most back pain is due to minor sprains or strains or to a muscle spasm. Try icy-hot on your back and a firmer place to sleep. please visit your doctor for further help and information.

it sounds like it could be a urinary tract infection in your kidneys, dont worry it can be treated by a doctor with antibiotics but i would go see your pediatrician as soon as possible
