Anything under 21 is way too young. You're not ready to make those kind of decisions until you're at least 21 and graduated from college. Maybe 18 is ok if she's not going to go to college and is getting married right away.

I mean really, how can you tell if you like someone if you're only 12 or 14? And they're kissing? How gross is that? Kissing is for your husband and nobody else - ever; you're not supposed to like doing it. She should really wait until she's married for that, who wants a girl that has already kissed other boys?

What's the world coming to?

LOL - someone thought I was serious. bwahahaha

Im 12 7th grade - First gf 5th grade- Nothing. Second and third gf, 6th grade - hugs. 4th and current gf Started in 6th grade- huggs kissed a few times. ( not everday maybe like once in a wek) Held hands. I think dating at this age is awesome Your only young once. Its not like we make out. Just a kiss. Its fine for your sister to be dating as long as theres like no making out or ya no sexual things.

It's absolutely fine!!!! I had a girlfriend before 6th grade. It's just innocent attraction. It's not like they're going to do anything with one another. I'm sure they're going to be very shy about the whole dating scene; those are the years to figure out that whole process and build some confidence.

Those are good, important times--let it happen.

I think the same way you do. She is young and she doesn't even know what dating is. She doesn't even have a car for her boyfriend to drive her to the restaurant she must be at least 11 or 12 years old..

she's not really too young because in the 6th grade, even if you have a "boyfriend" its not really a real boyfriend. its someone she feels close too and can talk to that she likes you could say. think of them as best friends.

It's probably just play I had a boyfriend from the age of three lol but it wasn't anything sinister we were just best friends we played together and he did kiss me on the mouth but it was just because that's what the big kids were doing. It was considered cute by all our parents.
No big deal.
