They are 2 entities the father is one being God, or Jehovah. And there is the son Jesus, which was sent by God to die for our chance of salvation. And then was resurrected by God, which was alive to be able to resurrect him from dead, which will mean he is a totally different entity, and there is the holy spirit. Which is Gods force or will like when his followers were being filled of holy spirit and they had a flame over their head. The could not be filled of an entity itself, but they could be filled of a force or will, or strength, yes Gods holy spirit (yes kind of like the force of star wars).

Three persons in one God. God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit. Also called the Holy Trinity.

They are three persons in one God. Its a bit confusing but my analogy is a human being. There is a body, a mind and a spirit (conscious). All three parts are very different yet make up one person.

Think of it this way - we're also made of three parts: Body, mind and spirit. But we're still one. The trinity is much more complex than that, but this is a basic understanding of how it works.

They are one. The trinity is a way to understand the love of God. My metaphor is parenthood. When we are young, we are afraid of our father. As we grow older, we start developing a better relationship with our father. When he is gone, we let him be part of us and even teach our children the good things we learned from our father.
The Trinity is sort of a never ending phase to me on how I relate to God. In times I am confident of Christ in me, I dwell in the Spirit... In times that I do not know, I turn to Christ... In times I still cannot see, I simply trust the Father. The trinity is just one of God's gift to me to understand Him.
...and you know what, I think it is an incomplete gift. It lacks one more.

--WELL if you count the one factor as individuals as meaning one, as in the following text they are separate entitiies:
(Ephesians 4:3-6) . . .earnestly endeavoring to observe the oneness of the spirit in the uniting bond of peace. 4 One body there is, and one spirit, even as YOU were called in the one hope to which YOU were called; 5 one Lord, one faith, one baptism; 6 one God and Father of all [persons], who is over all and through all and in all."
--7 designated entitities should make it clear that God is One!
--ESPECIALLY the designated "ONE GOD & FATHER"---just simple uno, one, 1 ---how much plainer can it be made?
--JESUS emphatically said that Jehovah is the one & only:
(Mark 12:29-30) . . .Jesus answered: “The first is, ‘Hear, O Israel, Jehovah our God is ONE JEHOVAH (my caps), 30 and you must love Jehovah your God with your whole heart and with your whole soul and with your whole mind and with your whole strength. . ."
(John 17:3) . . .This means everlasting life, their taking in knowledge of you, THE ONLY (my caps) true God, and of the one whom you sent forth, Jesus Christ. . .'

--UPDATE #1
--THE ILLUSTRATIONS of a shamrock, human body, egg , a woman being 3 designations etc. are describing other than
the designated family relationship of #1Jehovah God as the father; #2 Christ as the son--(WHERE LOVE , TRUST, APPRECIATION and other family qualities are involved-
--- THE holy spirit is no where involved in that intimate family relationship---no matter what trickery of the trinity is implied!

The answer depends on if you are Orthodox , Aryan , or Nician edict christian (such as catholic).
I don't qualify myself as any of the above and have not found anywhere Jesus said he was god or asked us to worship him.
Pope/Emperor Constantine ratified the bishoprics edict of father ,son and holy ghost being one as it allowed his adopted religion to appeal to Romans used to a pantheon. It appealed to his political ambitions.
