That they are just like a bunch of 7 year olds in a playground arguing about what Pokemon is the best and why. Each one is convinced of his own position and KNOWS that THEIR choice is the right one and everyone else's is wrong.
The problem is that most of these 7 year olds know, deep down, that their Pokemon is made up.
So, why can't theists understand that their gods are just the same? Imaginary beings with NO basis in reality.

You sound so proud to be an Atheist and adopt such an exalted superior position.
Yet you are forced to confess, at least to yourself - yet we all do know as well - that you have failed to live up to the light that you have. You know that you could have lived a better life and have done things of which you are ashamed.
That self knowledge judges you and will forever judge you.
You are no better therefore than those whom you hypocritically condemn.
Who are you to condemn when you fall short yourself?
Your motive is bad for in falling short you cannot deny the charge that you choose Atheism to deny your responsibility and accountability. You cannot deny that you yourself have fallen short of the knowledge of what is good that you have.

First off, that is not a question, not that you meant it to be. I believe the question is what you said later, "Why can't theists understand that their gods are just the same?" You asked this question leading off with the word, "So," which indicates that you said something that would help us to better understand the question. You also made an assumption that most 7 year olds "know" that their Pokemon is made up. So, how does this relate to "thousands of religions and worshippers" KNOWING that their god is NOT made up? It doesn't because the religions believe an affirmative and 7 year olds a negative. Therefore, it is illogical to arrive to the conclusion that all gods are just the same, when in fact the argument consists of Pokemon which are not the same.
Even more, there is one "truth" in this matter: there are gods who are made up. Does that disqualify a one true God? No, never.

You're really sick aren't you? You are comparing scriptures over 2 thousand years old to Pokemon. It is really sad that the best argument you can come up with is at its best childish and uninformed.
Do you find it the least bit ironic that all of the major religions base their beginning out of Jerusalem? Does it make you wonder at all? Did something happen years ago that MADE people believe, people of different back grounds and different thoughts miraculously come to the same conclusion at the same time.
On top of that there is scientific proof that a lot of the things/miracles depicted in the Bible really happened.

Seems like you're stating an opinion instead of asking a question. I agree that arguing over which god is "superior" is pointless. All religions spring from the same source, and they are all flavored by what came before it. Christianity is flavored of Judaism is flavored by the Egyptians. Islam is a cousin of Judaism and a descendant of Shivaism. They all are related and all say the same thing (at their core) in different ways.

After making a study of all the scriptures of the major religions of the world, I came to the conclusion that they all contained valuable wisdom to benefit us all.......The negative side of the study revealed that there was also a common denominator which runs through ALMOST all of them, which is THEY ALL WANT OUR MONEY........ . The ones that are NOT "DESPERATELY CHASING MONEY" , may be discovered by anyone who cares to carry out the same studies .

Your "logic" is that of a 7 yr. old: Short-sighted and misguided. Where there is highly intricate design there is a designer-undisputable. Would one reject a simple beer opener found in the Gobi sentiments as a novel chance happening of nature?
Also, why is the human brain made with infinite capacity when it dies at 70-80 yrs.? Mutation mechenisms disallow this fact. The "bettering" of the organism depends upon mutations, not vice versa. Unused function, as the theory goes, dies without being passed along. So, infinite brain capacity has not had the oppertunity to have been passed down through the millinia. WE DON'T LIVE LONG ENOUGH.
Thus, the FACT that it is there displays a GIFT. If you're ungrateful for yours that's your privillage. I choose to thank my creator and learn more about Him. He obviously has a purpose for me and I'm excited to find out more.

Mew = Cat, cat's meow
Vulpix= Fox, Vulpes, with six tails
Bulbasaur is a frog with a bulb on its back.
Your right, most or all religions do the same.
