My opinion is that there is a great future for her. How do I know this? Because God promises that to all who come to Him in faith. She must pick herself up and get to a good bible teaching church that is alive in Christ. She will get nourished with God's word, and meet new Christian friends.
God will make a way for her if she follows His word and seeks a relationship with Jesus.

lots of the arguments for do no longer ask, do no longer tell have not got something to do with heterosexuals being delicate. the belief became into that an out gay in a company stuffed with people who weren't tolerant of homosexuality is a recipe for disaster. the fashionable protection tension has plenty greater gender variety than it has ever had, and that they get the comparable equivalent threat guidance people working civilian jobs get. This became into authentic even interior the late '90s whilst DADT became into surpassed, however the view of the protection tension on the time had no longer yet caught up. i think of that is outlived its usefulness as a coverage. between regulations like DADT and 0 Tolerance, we lose a great form of our perfect and brightest leaders for extremely awful motives. a minimum of with 0 Tolerance, there is a few justification. Drug use can impression readiness and overall performance, and shows poor own judgement. merely the comparable, a grimy urinalysis is, in my opinion, a awful reason to discharge an in any different case large chief that manages to accomplish besides as a results of fact the remainder of their fellow squaddies or sailors on a each and daily foundation. yet with DADT, there is not any longer even that. A volunteer protection tension the place anybody must be there and provides their all daily is the purpose. i do no longer think of the hurdle between the protection tension and that purpose that DADT became into meant to bounce exists to any extent further. DADT and 0 Tolerance are leftover rules from a Vietnam-era attitude. for the period of that war, issues like those rules have been needed and robust concepts. however the protection tension and the subject concerns dealing with it have replaced over the final 30 years, and that is time how that is administered ameliorations besides.

I have a friend who had the same thing happen to her only her friends from her Christian Church rallied around her and loved her and welcomed her back to church with love and open arms.
Looks like that if a Jw doesn't say what church he is from, I would give back the ring and tell him to take a hike off a short cliff.
This is about dishonesty and it is not a religion that is not really recognized other than a true cult. Cults hide behind their lies. To cowardly to come forward another sign of a cult.
It isn't religion that is bad it is the ones confesses to a certain religion and not following the truth of Christ's words that makes religion look bad. It is the people.
I think it is a good idea that she is away from those people anyways and you as her friend could talk to her and even go to church with her. You go with her church that is Christian and help her to tell the truth of her marriage base solely on a lie and I have a feeling that things will go okay with her again. She may be afraid to go back to her own church and to let others know what happened and witness to them about her marriage was based on that lie.
I just have a good feeling that she has not lost her friends. Good Luck with her and we'll be praying for her to gain the strength to go ahead and go to her church again.

Yes Jesus was right, but there's always a way back to Jesus, he doesn't shut the door. She should draw strength from the parable of the lost son in Luke, God is waiting for her return with open arms

You did not state if she was a Christian or not, you just said she was brought up in a Christian home and then went to the Kingdom hall. Did she become a JW because if she then she has got more problems. Can you give some more details.

What you describe has nothing to do with being "unequally yoked" it has everything to do with "fairweather friends" Shame on all her friends for abandoning her in her time of need, Shame on her supposed church "family" for not being there for her, shame on you for blaming her sadness on a bible passage and laying the blame on her. Shame on all this womans fellow men for not reaching out a helping hand in time of need, help that should break all barriers, of religious belief, income, race, sex or age.... Shame on religion for such discrimination amongst it's own factions.

If your friend is a Jehovah Witness, and a member of a Kingdom Hall, she should talk to the sisters, who can help her through this time of sadness and lonliness.

If her friends truly loved her and were real Christians, they still would have accepted her and been her friend.
My friend who was a Catholic all her life went to become a JW, and I said I still loved her as a friend, even if she did change her religion. So what. A friend is a friend.

Indeed Jesus was right when He said this. This was a mistake I made last year almost cost me everything including being put out of church I learned this lesson the hard way and haven't done it since - not worth risking my Salvation for this.
Why don't you invite her to your church?

Yes, this would be hard. Hopefully she finds some good Christian people that love and care about her. I will pray that God will lead her.
