It is wrong parenting that brainwashes us into wrong beliefs, but you can't blame them entirely, since they were probably brainwashed in a similar way.

Yes. As long as you are alive, you can have faith. By mere hoping, you are having faith.
Parenthood is key in the development but is not exclusive to it. It differs from people to people. Some would just see a flash of light on the way to Damascus and live a different life altogether. Others respond differently.
Faith to me is a way of seeing God in my circumstances and my way of knowing how to respond to the world around me.
If I see a beggar on the streets and I am moved to give alms... I see with my faith and respond with my mind and conviction.
But the grace is granted to me when I start to think... "Where is Christ in that situation? In me? or in the beggar?"
When I see Christ more in the beggar, my heart moves and it brought me to tears.
Christ is more with the beggar because he causes poor souls like me to find a better part of me every day.
That is faith to me... Finding God in everything.

The word of God will separate you from the World. His word will set his dream for victory into motion in your life. If you'll receive it and believe it, speak it and act on it, that word will set you apart from those around you. A living Faith will take you from trouble to triumph again and again. There is a old saying in life, ''two wrongs don't make a right''. Faith be with you forever, AMEN.

Yes, we can still have faith by trusting in God and having a relationship with him through Jesus Christ. Be real with God. Cast all your cares on him. As the song goes, turn it over to Jesus and you can smile the rest of the day.

I have found all answers in Jesus Christ, and in the word of God, the bible. Through study and prayer over the course of many years, He has transformed my life. The past is just that. One of my favorite verses in the bible is this, God says: "I know the plans I have for you, plans to prosper you, to give you hope and a future". And He has good plans for each person, if we turn to Him and trust Him.

You life is not about who raised you. It's about you. God chose people of all types, and some people he chose were raised well and yet fell away. It's not about family.
