"Therefore, since we receive a kingdom which cannot be shaken, let us show gratitude, by which we may offer to God an acceptable service with reverence and awe," (Heb. 12:28).

Our position with God is so secure in Christ, that it cannot be shaken. Our position was purchased for us by the son of God who died on the cross and shed his blood for us. In Him we have redemption, the forgiveness of our sins. Therefore, in gratitude for what we have received in Christ, we are to serve the Lord with reverence and awe.

Our reverence is towards God. Reverence is proper honor, appreciation, and devotion to God. To be in awe means to be reverent, but also speaks of godly fear. Though we are safe in the arms of Christ, we should be awestruck at the majesty and perfection of God's holy character. Remember, God deals with sin appropriately and we receive the benefit of His work in the person of Christ.

As long as we remain part of the True Vine (Jesus Christ).
Key word here "Remain".
I know that we can never be plucked from the Father's hand, but we can choose to walk away.
We have to continue to run the race that God has set before us,waivering neither to the left or right. But to stay fixed on the straight & narrow path. For wide Is the Path that leads to destruction and many will travel.
Redeem the time as the days are evil.

If there is a god it is so much larger and more enigmatic than any human could possibly comprehend. Humans try to superimpose their flawed values and belief systems on a force that is so utterly un human. God is not a person it is neither male nor female, and it is not contained in once place or space. I find many religious views of what god is so simplistic that its scary. The bible was written by men in order to control the masses. These men had biases and beliefs of their own that are reflected in the text. I find it kind of shocking and perverted that people insist that "god said this and god said that." And "so and so sin is against gods will" How do you know? I think these views are overly humanizing a force that cannot be understood.

I am secure in Christ. We have a Wonderful, Awesome, Perfect God that has made each of us in His image. To think that He would die for me. To think that He could love me. To know that He is preparing a place for me. I am so very glad that I am a child of the King and I do have a mansion awaiting me in Glory.

Yes, and I share the following scripture for why I believe my position with God is secure in Christ:

Hebrews 7:25 - "Wherefore he is able also to save them to the uttermost that come unto God by him, seeing he ever liveth to make intercession for them."

When we are in Christ, “we are more than conquerors through Him that loved us” (Romans 8:37) and can rejoice in our Savior, who makes all things possible! In Christ we are loved, forgiven, and promised salvation. In Christ we are adopted, justified, redeemed, reconciled, and chosen. In Christ we are victorious, filled with joy and peace, granted true meaning in life. What a wonderful Savior is Christ!

Yes. It is secure IN CHRIST.

"I am the true vine, and my Father is the gardener. He cuts off every branch in me that bears no fruit, while every branch that does bear fruit he prunes so that it will be even more fruitful. You are already clean because of the word I have spoken to you. Remain in me, and I will remain in you. No branch can bear fruit by itself; it must remain in the vine. Neither can you bear fruit unless you remain in me.
"I am the vine; you are the branches. If a man remains in me and I in him, he will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing. If anyone does not remain in me, he is like a branch that is thrown away and withers; such branches are picked up, thrown into the fire and burned."
John 15:1-6
