"Carbon dating has been proved inaccurate and no on can say that the world is millions or years old anymore."

Umm, no, it hasn't and, yes, we can. In fact, we can say, with certainty, that the world is Billions of years old. It would seem that you were asleep in that high school science class.

we didn't stop evolving, although it is possible that we have slowed down somewhat in recent history. DNA replication is not perfect. each human child has on the order of 100 genetic mutations which were NOT present in its parents. most of these do nothing, some are harmful, fewer still are useful. but the mutations that are useful will tend to spread thoughout the population over the generations. which brings up another point, the human population is now thousands of times larger than it was only a few thousand years ago, and so it takes longer for a useful mutation to spread throughout the population. nevertheless such occurrences have been documented.

basically you may as well ask why the tectonic plates have stopped moving. they haven't, it's just that their movements are so slow that they are almost imperceptible to humans. careful measurements on the other hand confirm that they are actually moving at the rate of centimeters per year. similarly, the human genome is "moving", i am not sure of the rate, perhaps it is a few DNA bases per year. but the human genome has a total of 3 billion DNA bases, so it is fairly slow change.

we are evolving-

besides a physical change- think of the organs in the body that we no longer seem to use,
(edit) actually there is a correspondence between these organs and other functions- also an energetic connection as in the chakra system...physical changes would take many many generations to appear obvious

we also evolve mentally ~ just think of how far we have come in the past 100 years

and spiritually~ more and more people with growing consciousness and the ability to truly comprehend the many advanced spiritual teachings of the past and the new concepts of today

The human genome mapping project has shown that all humans alive today descend from one female around 250,000 years ago. This curious piece of information seems, like the 'Bible' to be used to 'prove' all sorts of stuff that it doesn't.

For instance, whilst it does lead back to a very tightly constrained bottle-neck it does not exclude the possibility of prior species with the same basic genetic pattern.

Most serious pseudo-scientists, like Darwin, muddle up 'evolution' with adaptation linked to genetic mutation. These are two very different phenomena.

True Evolution is taking place, in fact we are in a period of intense 'activity' right now. But this is linked more causally to the 12 strand DNA threads, of which only the two physical ones are even accepted by our 'science', although quantum physics is getting close to the concept of multi-level physical intertwined with 'energetic' manifestation that is the 'real' reality of this 'realm'.

This current 'evolutionary' phase is an opening up of awareness to allow us to perceive outside this realm while still manifested in it. An attribute that has only been the province of 'ascended' Masters ( in the Oriental Wisdom sense ) until this 'time'.

If the real process by which we came into being here were known right now .... it would probably cause rioting in the streets ! ;-)))

And no, we didn't 'evolve' from monkeys, actually that's quite a funny story, and in a certain sense the truth is rather the other way around. All will 'out' in it's own good 'time'.

We did no stop evolving. What? Do you expect humans to change drastically in a few decades or a few hundred years? It doesn't happen that quickly. You're not going to be able to see it in your lifetime. Evolution is a slow on going process.

Animals only evolve if an outside pressure is on them, for example modern medical science has affected childbirth since it has intervened and made births easier without evolution. And sharks have also stopped evolving because right now they are perfect machines for what they need to do and don't need to evolve into something more perfect.

Also we are still evolving, some of us no longer have wisdom teeth, etc. Over a long period of time we will be able to see the effects of evolution on the human animal more clearly.

Ok you are really ignoarnt, evolution doesnt happen in a day sweety. And not to long ago (your probably not cultured enough to go to museums and the like) you can see there coffins are smaller, their beds are smaller. We've grown taller.
AND THE POPE PAPAL STATEMENT SUPPORTS EVOLUTION
Pope John Paul II declared that "fresh knowledge leads to recognition of the theory of evolution as more than just a hypothesis" in a formal statement sent to the Pontifical Academy of Sciences

According to Darwin's theory, individual animals best suited to their environments live longer and have more children, and so spread their genes through populations. This produces evolutionary changes. For example, hoofed animals with longer necks could reach the juiciest leaves on tall trees and therefore tended to eat well, live longer, and have more offspring. Eventually, they evolved into giraffes. Those with shorter necks died out.

Similar processes led to the evolution of mankind, but this has now stopped because virtually everybody's genes are making it to the next generation, not only those who are best adapted to their environments.

Because previously fatal diseases and mutations are now curable through something called modern medicine? And considering that, you must also take into account that most genetic diseases that are still fatal take action later in life, ie after the person has had time to reproduce and pass on their genetics.

Fast evolution needs a catalyst. If a certain lizard is being killed constantly by a predator, then they will evolve faster.

We are at the top of the ultimate food chain. We have no pressing need for evolution. Therefore, the process is gradual.
