My aunt had a cat that did the exact samething she didn't get rid of him though. That cat was the worst! it attacked & hissed anytime sombody walked past.Peed on your clothes/coat if you left it somewhere. Once it attacked me while I was sitting on the floor. I would just send it away & get a friendly cat from the shelter.

I'm dealing with a similar cat...she isn't any fun. She doesn't hiss at me, but she has bitten my arms so many times it looks like I cut myself.

When I go to bed I leave the door open, and during the day I don't seek her out. If she wants attention she comes to me....but I find that plying them with cat treats seems to make them nicer - for a while.

Try leaving the door open, giving it a bit of attention and a few treats...or get a second cat to keep it company.

Try approaching her slowly. Ask a vet or a local humane society if they have a program for taming animals. If you must give her away, get another kitty, and make sure you pay alot of attention to her. Cats love that. Be calm and use a soothing voice when you are around her. Hope this helps!

Get a water bottle and ever time she attacks you spray the cat sooner or later she will quit. My sister has a cat and that is what she does. If that don't work just make her an outside cat.

I am sorry but you spelled evil wrong. Your cat sounds like it likes to have plenty of space and be in charge of the house. Try getting him/her a "cat tree" and then only interacting with him/her when he/she is open to the idea. You have to learn how your cat likes to interact instead of pushing your agenda onto him/her if not it will be an uphill battle for you.

You can try a cat pheramone called Feliway (plug in or spray).....if that doesn't work your vet can prescribe drugs like valium and prozac. She made need some drugs to make her safe to be around also to relieve some of her anxiety.
