I like nice cats and do mind if they bite. I don't like cats that are too terrirorial. I want a nice cat that likes to cuddle and is good around kids. Something with fur please as well.

Burmese cats are low maintance & are very
people oriented. Being short hair they don't
shed much. These cats are very dog like in
that they come when called & will follow you
from room to room. Sit down & a burmese
cat will be in your lap 2 seconds later. They
don't bite & are very smart. You can actually
teach these cats to do tricks. They will play
fetch & bring a small wool ball back to you.

do you mean a good breed of cat? well you can't really say that, because every cat has a different personality, no matter what breed. some breeds are classified as such and such, but thats stereotyping. i suggest you look on petfinder.com
you can find the perfect little kitty on there, and you can see which ones are located closer to where you live. they also include details about the cat, like if they're territorial or not, and such

Definitly a short hair (not so much shedding) and I would reccommend a tabby cat, their coloring is very unique and they have the cutest faces :)

Cats from the shelter are nice! just look for the one who has alot of energy when you go. That's the one who loves to be with people.
