I have two cats, one male and one female. The female delivered three kittens half a month ago, and they are all healthy. Now, my problem is, after my male cat noticed that I'm giving more attention to the female cat, he pees everywhere! On my new sofa, on my carpet, almost everywhere it wants! I held it next to where he peed, and flicked him on his nose just to "teach" him to never do it again, and that it's wrong. I tried petting him as much as I could, but still, it's at it again! What's wrong? What to do now?

If your cat is spraying you will know. It is a very STRONG odor... Urine will smell the same either way. If it is that the cat is spraying your in trouble... Once a cat knows how to spray even after getting him fixed it's like an 80% chance that he will still spray.
If it is urine or spray. He is showing his dominance over the surroundings. Do you still have the kittens? This would make sense, especially if you have a male kitten. At the age your kittens should be now, and, if you still have them then he is only smelling a MALE cat not a kitten!!! This will subside in time. Here is a suggestion: If you do have a male kitten then get yourself some cat nip. I would suggest that you give the adult male a toy that has some already inside or, according to directions sprinkle some on a different toy. This will get the male into more of a playing mood and not take things too seriously!! (dominance) When he see's that there is no threat I'm sure he'll stop the sprying/urinating....Hopefully this will initiate play amongst him and the kittens.
One more thing. If there are other cat's using the litter box make sure it is very clean. Some cat's will not go in a box if there is other THINGS...lol...in there other then their own..
Good luck...Hope I helped... Do you still have the kittens??? I just found one a few weeks ago that I had to hand feed. It takes time, but, he is getting along with the others. I have a female that is the "Mother Hen" to all my cat's. She is the one having the hard time. I tried what I had suggested to you with your male (cat nip) and it seems to be working...

Last year my beautiful Manx cat Theodore went out for the evening and never came back. I love cats and the house didn't feel the same without one, so I picked up Lola from a rescue centre. She was very frightened and would pee all over the house. I found Cat Spraying No More on the internet and the techniques worked almost immediately. I haven't had a problem with Lola since. Amazing!
Can't stop your cat peeing in the house? Then worry no more...

First of all, chill out. Second, The Male Kitty may be feeling neglected. He wants attention, either that or hes stressed over the kittens. Show equal attention to all, and give him some warm milk (just a little, or his tummy will get upset) while da woman kitty isn't watching. See? It will be OK.

he's probably marking his territory, because he's jealous of the female cat and wants her out. if you think its not this case, then it might be a health problem. try confining you and both cats in a medium/small room for about an hour or two a day. do something quiet and carefully observe both of the cat's behaviors, secretly. play with them equally, but not too much. take this time to read or something.

Sounds like he's marking his territory, and since you have a female mother cat I assume he is not neutered. The ASPCA offers suggestions on what to do at this link: http://www.aspca.org/site/PageServer?pagename=pets_urinespraying
Getting him neutered before spraying started would have curbed this behavior, but as far as hearing personal stories about sprayers, you're pretty much stuck. Good luck!
Any make sure you read the What Not To Do section.

It could be a behavioral thing, as you mentioned, there were lots of changes in the house however, there might also be a problem with his kidneys or bladder.
You should take him to the vet just to make sure that he is not sick and suffering! It might be as easy as a prescription for antibiotics!

Maybe you need to clean out his litter box more often. Some cats refuse to go if there is anything other than litter in it
