SWEETHEART; I DON'T Want You 2 Do ANYTHING that Might Damage (YOUR Hair) ! ! !

It Is Likley Your Hair Will Get A Little Lighter And Probably Warmer In Tone But, This Is Normal. You Can Go Ahead And Perm But, GET IT DONE PROFESSIONALLY. Then Wait A Week Or Two And Get It Re-Colored. Make Sure It Is Well Conditioned Between Treatments.

Funny,

I just left the salon because I had an appointment for a perm.

They wouldn't do it, because I had my hair colored in Europe about 3 months ago. She explained that the combination of the chemicals from the hair coloring, and the chemicals from the perm would very likely make my hair break off and then my hair wouldn't be long, but short! And then, my perm wouldn't be flowing and natural but would be short and really curly!

They refused me, you can try it.....but they would probably refuse you too, even after having it colored long before, like 3 months.

Have you taken advice on this one from a hairdresser. I permed and coloured my hair and it was very bad. I could not get a comb through it in the end. Make sure you are not perming it too soon after colouring it. If it is done professionally they will be able to tell you what will happen. Take care.

I really don't think it will change color, but you may want to watch out, because it might fry your hair. You may want to give your hair a little bit more time before you perm it.

It will definitely get lighter. You should always perm first, wait at LEAST 72 hours, then color. Don't forget to condition it well.

nO... but don't freshly wash your hair when you perm it. Its been through a lot and if it doesn't have SOME oils in it, this operation could throw it into overload and you'll end up like Carrot Top!

yep..It will get lighter and more warm toned.

Interesdting that you ask the question and then give a thumbs down...I have been a stylist for 16 years, go for it your hair will not fade or break or fall out or look dry or be damaged in any way!...LOL

Yes, it will probably be much lighter and probably have damage. What was wrong with the color hair God gave you?
