Use Frontline every month. Get a flea comb if you still see some. You might have to spray your carpet.

Do not 'shave' your cat. That is the stupidest thing in the world and totally not necessary. Frontline has always worked for me.

What flea treatment did you use? There are many different kinds - you need to be aware that none from a pet store are going to work. You need to get a treatment from a vet, like Frontline, Advantage, Revolution or Advocate. Get these on your cat's skin, not their fur, and they will be protected against fleas for a at least a month.

You also need to treat your house, again with something from a vets, NOT pet store! So no flea 'bombs'!

Pet stores aren't licensed to sell the appropriate drugs for flea treatment, their stuff is just random insecticides - as long as you're buying from there your flea problem will never be sorted.

From my own experience with my cats and flea investation only Frontline Cat works, You can buy it now on the Internet much cheaper than your vet would charge you for it. I found any thing I purchased in a pet store just was not strong enough to kill them. After applying to the cat m normally the fleas ticks and lice die in 24 hours and fall off the cat. Remember to treat your house too. Fleas can survive in carpets and furnishings for a long time.

The best thing is to use frontline plus, once a month is good, try spraying the floor and all the furrrniture, though make sure you are vaccuming regularly, that will help alot! Also, take them in to the vet, they can even give the cats a shot.

did u kill all the fleas in your house?
shave your cats, then bomb the house.
you can go to wall mart and get these sprays. you turn them on and leave your house for like 6 hours.
you open your closets, put couch pillows on the ground.
we had a BIG fluffy cat, awe did that.
