I don't know anyone that discriminates against immigrants (a person that has entered the country legally). I know a lot of people that do want to stop the entry of illegal aliens. There is a HUGE difference.

Get your story right, people are getting fed up with all the money and services being spent on illegal immigrants taking advantage of the U.S. tax payers. You might be one that would put me in the category of discriminating, I'm tried of seeing State and Government forms and information in different languages and also that all these new citizen that can't speak the English Language so they can be understood. The requirement of having to read, write, and speak the English Language to become an American Citizen has been lost somewhere in all the translation of all the different non- English Languages.

We are a nation of immigrants. The only immigrants that need to go home are the illegal ones who bring drugs and weapons into our sovreign country, suck out the welfare programs tax dollars that are meant for people who pay the taxes during hard times and want to change the laws illegally once they get here illegally . I don't have any problems with immigrants trying to make a life for themselves, as long as they do it legally, learn the language and are willing to protect our country. If you become a citizen the same way my ancestors became citizens, welcome to the greatest nation in the world.

Legal immigrants are not discriminated against. The illegal aliens that are here need to start heading for home though, as we don't want or need them here. There are so many detrimental facts against illegals that they will never be accepted by true Americans.

In many cases immigrants are viewed as sponges coming here to mooch off a society in which they had no hand in creating.
Also, another view is that they are just giving up, throwing in the towel on their own country.
Personally, I think immigration is a good thing in tightly controlled amounts. The numbers that we (Canada) are letting in is only a quick fix and we will face the consequences down the line. Our government should be backing the home-grown family unit in order to sustain and increase population growth and not whore out this country to whomever wants in.

i am not against immigrants. i am against illegal aliens. my grandparents immigrated to America shortly after world war II they entered the country legally and didn't raise the crime rates, and poverty rates. don't try to profile me. i have no problem with legal immigrants, but all illegals should be deported, and if they have a kid, they can leave it for adoption or take it with them so long as they get the heck out!

No one discriminates against LEGAL immigrants.. got it!

It is the illegal ones that we want out of our country.. we cannot afford them and they have no right to be here.. It is really simple when you think about it.

The operational word you are looking for is: "ILLEGAL."
People are against ILLEGAL immigrants. LEGAL immigrants are welcome. Many of our ancestors, mine included, were immigrants who came to this country LEGALLY.

It's nothing to do with the immigrant status, itself, but whether the person (or persons) stay illegally, or go through the legal process of naturalization (or becoming a LEGAL citizen).

People? Of what country? Discriminate against what? Immigrants? Hmmmmm...... I helped my ex-wife immigrate, and, though she divorced me, I still think the world of her. Mostly everyone who ever knew her has loved her. And you think they discriminate against what, now? Hmmmm....

I'm lost.

I wasn't aware they did. I know several immigrants (legal ones) and they have had no problems at all.
