One minute, they're the same... the next minute, they're different... DUDE!!! You misinterpreted it!!!! Get over it.

That statue of Jesus on a cross you worship is an idol. It does absolutely nothing!!! Sure people huddle around it, they huddle around fire, too if it's cold enough. Should I worship fire, too???

I've taken a lot of flack for questions like these, but in the end, am I disrespecting GOD, or am I disrespecting YOU?

Jesus never intended to be worshiped as deity. His message was clearly that his life was meant to serve as an example of our path back to the Creator. He showed us the way, by choosing to love everyone - even his tormentors.

Unfortunately, the early Christian church needed to control the masses. They couldn't have a bunch of people running around establishing personal relationships with God - that cuts out the middle man.

So they developed a theology that placed Christ between us and God, and the church between us and Christ - thereby assuring their position of power over the congregation.

This was all a lie. Jesus himself commanded that we only need worship the One God, and love our neighbors.

You need to understand that God is triune. (three in one). The Father , Son , and Holy Spirit. All three make up the Godhead. They are God. Just like you , You have a Body, Soul, and Spirit, but all three make up who you are (Adder As). The Father did not come and die on a cross for you Nor did the Holy Spirit. Although they had a part in the Son coming and dying. The Father sent the Son and the Holy Spirit gave him the strength to go through everything that He went through. Therefore Jesus (the Son of God ) is our Lord and Saviour because He is the one who died for us. If people worship a statue of Jesus on a cross , You're Right, it IS an idol, and it will do absolutly nothing for anyone who worships such a thing. It's no different than huddling around a fire and worshiping it. We are to worship no kind of statue. It's a sin , the Bible calls it idolatry. We are to worship God only in Spirit and in Truth and this kind of worship comes straight from the heart and directly to God Who is in Heaven and not in a statue or picture.

The Holy Trinity:
God the Father
God the Son
God the Holy Spirit
Jesus is God, part of the Trinity. There are the same thing, but JESUS came to earth (God the Son) and gave us salvation.

God is a Holy God and He just won't offer blanket forgiveness for His people. It requires a Sacrifice and Jesus is the Sacrifice and the Savior.

You are seriously messing up the language. The Almighty Father is YHVH. His Son, the Savior, is named YAHOSHUA. The Savior;s name means "YHVH is my Savior". You are correct that the statue is an idol. (We were commanded to avoid them.) I think the true faith (which can lead to salvation) respects everyone, even those who don't deserve it.

because he is the gate-keeper so to speak he is your middleman to God,once you accept him, then you have a clear path to God,christianity teaches that we are not able to approach God on our own we have to have Jesus as a go-between

hope this helped
