For me, personality comes first and the looks will be a bonus.
If I have still feelings with my ex, I would get hurt if she is dating another guy. If I still ahve feelings for her, I will woo her back to me.

Well I'm in the same situation. I think a "PERFECT" gf is a person you actually hang around with and is someone who is actually nice to you and gives you attention. On the other hand, you want to find a girl with good looks and who actually thinks you're cool. And , yes i would be mad at my ex dating another guy, but wouldn't keep a grudge on it. And again, yes i think guys still have feelings for his ex and probably would want to get back together.

The key to any relationship is communication and a willingness to compromise. If a person is a former gf, then it is very unstable psychologically to be mad if she was dating....she is an ex- for a reason. I can't speak for all guys, but I have no inclination to get back together.....it would certainly end badly again.
