Well I don't know any Italian, but I speak French and a little bit of Spanish, and I know that they are very similar. I actually think you should study the language that is less like French because it's hard for me to learn Spanish when I already know French. So many of the words are so alike that I get the languages mixed up sometimes. Good Luck!

They all three are Romance languages derived from Latin, but from what I've seen I'd have to say that Italian is somewhat more similar to French than Spanish is. On the other hand, Italian and Spanish are more alike than Spanish and French or French and Italian, if that makes any sense.

They are all romance languages. It is hard to say but I would lean toward Spanish. I would say, though, that Spanish and Italian are closer than French is to either. Perhaps Portugues and French are slightly more similar. Study whichever you believe will have a greater use to you and also which one appeals to you the most. Spanish is always good to know for its practicality.

Spanish, I studied spanish for three years in high school, and I studied french for 3 years in junior high. The language structure and rules are the same, as well many words are very similar.

spanish is closer because italian is the first language to branch off from latin. spanish and french came later on.

i would say they both are close to italian. cuz 3 of them are romance languages, they come from Latin... I dont speak Italian, but French...and i can tell u they have similar grammar. They both have the same tenses. the only difference is french has the very famous Passé Composé to refer to the past that in spanish is expressed by Preterito perfecto compuesto (present perfect) y preterito perfect simple (past simple). And of course the oldfashioned Passé Simple that is only used in literature and which doesnt exist in Spanish.

Heart English, Cuore Italian, Coeur French, Cor Catalanian, Corazón Spanish, Corazon Galician, Coraçao Portuguese, Cordis Latin.
The most close to French are Italian and Catalanian.
