Is my dream trying to tell me something?

I was seeing this guy for 2 yrs and he broke my heart when i found out he got married behind back. He told me he was pressured into doing it because the woman he married was pregnant. Anyway, i dreamt that i went to go see a spiritual advisor about this guy and he gave me a stick to put over a flame of a red candle. then he told me to carve the name of the man i love with the stick on the candle. As i was doing that he asked me "Is there anything you want to know about this man?" I said, "I want to know if this is the man for me?" He said "This is the man that was created to be with you. and he will be back for you in 6months in jesus name." And then the dream ended. i feel that this dream is trying to tell me something by it being spiritual and by jesus's name being used in it. I take the lord very seriously. what do you guys think? Or was this just a dream?

Strawberry, this dream sounds more like wishful dreaming. When looking at dreams you have to examine things according to God's Word. One, He hates divorce and once someone marries someone else they are bound by their word. If He did come back into your life, it could only be for his wife's unfaithfulness. Any other reason would make you an adultress if you married him. Honestly, this does not seem like a dream from the Lord.

Hi Xavier, Your dreams are normally just the consciousness working out its daily problems, but these dreams for a person on a spiritual path are very significant. The lady is the soul, the car is the physical body and the person who slit your throat is your conditioned conscious mind. The inner voice that told you that you were going to cross over to hell for murder is the soul being murdered by the conditioned conscious mind. This means that you are not giving your consciousness full rein and it is happening at the fifth centre, which is self expression, because you endured five days of helplessness. In the next scene you are torturing someone for five days, that someone is your self being tortured because it is not getting its full expression and the guy saying ‘if you had not stopped your car and tried to help the lady, you would have suffered another five days of pain before dying’ means that you must allow your soul, which remember was represented as the lady, to express itself. So it is not karma as something that is happening because of past life action, it is a wake up call from the soul saying that you must allow its spontaneous expression to get free of the conditioned conscious mind and enter a completely new dimension of consciousness and energy.

MOst likely it is just a very creative dream or what you wish would be able to happen, but if it doesn't bother you or makes you feel better you could always just do as the dream says and then wait 6 months to see if he comes?

Dreams are of our very own creation. I think it highly likely that it is your subconscious telling you that that is what you want or wish for but it is not actually the way it is or it is supposed to be. Dreams are tricky and the mind works in mysterious ways to tell us what we are thinking. I don't think you have been able to get over him and that is why you had the dream. It is not uncommon and there is nothing wrong with it, but don't take it seriously.

Some dreams are called wish fulfillment dreams. They're little more than scenarios of the way we wish thngs could go for us. Of course, six months will tell if your dream was something more.

Wait...6 months, but maybe somethings gonna happen with ur guy and his "wife" like shes gonna tell him that the babes not his and hes gonna come 2 u, cause he WAS pressured, right?
